American Mortgages
It is usually possible to obtain a mortgage from an American Bank (no Building Societies over there) of up to 75% or 80% of the purchase price. The documentation appears somewhat complicated, but our Orlando office or an alternative Mortgage Advisor whom we can recommend will give you every assistance. The arrangements can be completed on line in most cases. Both capital and interest and interest only mortgages are available and rates are roughly similar to our own in the UK. Mortgages are completed on a ‘non verification’ basis – that is, information provided on the application form does not have to be proved (no payslips or accounts normally required etc.).
